DIY Aloe vera juice for Natural Hair
Why aren’t you making your own natural aloe vera juice and gel at home? This has to be one of the best kept secrets in natural hair care. Most people use popular brands of aloe vera gel but growing up in the Caribbean, and having Aloe Vera plants readily available in our kitchen garden, I figured I would extract my own aloe vera gel and make aloe vera juice for my curly hair.

How to DIY Aloe vera juice for Natural Hair
- Remove the sharp edges of the leaf. Gently slice the flatter side of the green outer skin
- Next, remove the gel by scooping. And that’s it, you have your gel
- Now you can make your aloe juice
To make your aloe juice: Add your aloe vera gel to water and mix together in a blender.
